How Is It Being Pregnant With A Toddler?

We are trying to have our second kid now that our son is almost fully potty trained and sleeping in his room all night. While talking about it, I voiced my concern about having to deal with our active 3 year old and being pregnant alone (he works offshore) and hoping my pregnancy this time isn’t high risk and complicated. He said he was thinking of just going back to the custody agreement with my parents where he would pick me up when he comes home and drop me off before he goes to work like last time ( we live 4 hours away from both our families) All I can do was laugh because it really felt like I was a kid going back and forth between moms house and dads house lol. And they would even try to pawn me off on the other or try to keep me longer than they supposed to (first grandchild, and my mom has all sister and had all girls so she was extra excited I was having a boy)

Serious question, how did y’all get through it? Any tips And Tricks?
