Once you became a mom, how did your Mother’s Day celebrations change?

We normally have dinner with my MIL or my mother (we alternate because of the distance). But now that I am a mom I want to spend the day with my family (husband and son) when I pictures my first Mother’s Day I don’t imagine celebrating with anyone but my immediate family, the two who made me come a mom. I don’t want to be selfish, but I want the day for me. I’m happy to celebrate my mother or MIL the day before.
