Older midwife?

Hey guys! I have an appointment to meet with an older midwife in her 70s. I know this is a strange question but have any of you given birth with an older midwife at home?

Answer

I used a midwife practice with 9 midwives and saw most of them during my pregnancies. The oldest was in her early 70s. She wasn’t the midwife who attended either of my births but my meetings with her were great, she had loads of experience and I would have felt comfortable with her being the one at my births.
