Is there any way to get painrelief for after birth contractions?

Nekoo

Evening ladies! This is more meant for the ladies who would know or had experienced really bad post birth contractions. I'm mum of 2, currently pregnant with my third baby and in the middle of thinking about my birth plan and writing it down. I was wondering, are there any options for pain relief for the afterbirth period? I given birth twice, contractions, pushing, placenta delivery doesn't scare me so much as the post birth contractions. They were the worst part of giving birth and I was barely coping last time, intense contractions for nearly 2 days, barely able to walk or move from the pain. I'm very anxious about that part of labour, as nothing helped. Has anyone had the same thing? Are there options to make it go easier? I know it's a part of uterus shrinking, but it was complete agony for me. I gave birth unmedicated, that wasn't as bad as pains after birth. I don't even care what they give me, as long it takes the pain away. I will probably bring back up feeding for the baby in case they give me any meds that can end up in breastmilk. Please tell me I'm not the only one who finds this part most horrible about giving birth :(
