bartholin cyst aftercare

i could not walk or even get dressed it hurt so bad , one ER diagnosed me wrong with a hernia and pushed it up , i woke up double in size and double in pain

yesterday went to different ERi got diagnosed with a bartholin cyst abscess , they put me under and surgically drained it and i have a catheter up there that is said to fall out in 2-4 weeks but if it doesn’t that will be an issue

i am still feeling pain/sharp pain today

i am wondering why it’s about the same size is it because of swelling from yesterday? or when will ur start to go down

i was told not to take hot baths because they don’t want any extra water up there

i do have somewhat relief like i am not crying from pain anymore

i am also nervous because everything i read on here or tiktok says it comes back , and i will be out of the country on vacation swimming and all in june so im so scared something will happen there because that’s my luck
