Moisturizing oily skin?

I recently got a facial for the first time ever and was told I shouldn’t moisturize my face. I’ve never heard that before but wanted to know y’all’s thoughts. I currently use nuetrogena water gel to moisturize

You should definitely moisturize but you also need to take care of your skin by cleansing etc. I’m interested what she did suggest if you weren’t to moisturize like what did she recommend for your skin routine?

I use PanOxyl oil controlling moisturizer. I add a little dab something with a little extra moisture whenever I need it. ￼
