When did your little one become fully potty trained?

I’m looking for preschools and many require potty trained, meaning they can articulate when they need to go, and no pull ups or diapers. 
When did you start potty training and when did your little one become fully trained?

Started elimination communication when they were able to sit up by themselves on a potty, about 9MO. Fully potty trained eldest a little after 3 YO. You can also use cloth training pants instead of plastic style pull-ups which are pretty much diapers.

Tried at 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, and it finally clicked at 3. Potty trained in just a few days at that point, overnight in about a month

We have tried off and on since he turned two. He just turned four and he’s not fully potty trained. He can go pee all day with no accidents if he’s running around bare butt, but if we put underwear or loose shorts on him he stops using the potty. He’s never pooped on the toilet. He starts preschool in the fall and they don’t require him to be potty trained, but they reassured me that for the most part the kids that come in who aren’t potty trained are using the toilet fully by December-ish because they see their classmates use the toilet:

We started showing our son the basics to going potty. When he was 2.5 but he showed he wasn’t ready after he turn 3 he basically got it. He’ll still have accidents but he understands where he should pee and poop. However he doesn’t go by himself he’ll tell me as I’m closing the door that I need to wait. He knows how to lift his undies but he won’t do it it’s a fight to get him to do it but overall by 3 I’d say most kids know and understand especially if they’re not the first child they tend to catch on faster watching brother or sister do it.
