Twin naming theme

So I don't share names we've thought about or picked with random strangers in real life because what follows is always unsolicited advice. Sometimes even when I don't tell them. But one thing that keeps coming up is people thinking I must give the twins matching names. They're boy/girl twins. But even if they were both girls or both boys, I would still give them individual, non rhyming names. I want them to feel like their own person, especially as adults. But it made me curious how many people favor giving twins matching (same letter, rhyming, etc) names, or independent (different letter, non rhyming, etc) names. No right or wrong answer, just actually wondering if I'm in the minority with my thought process. Lol
