What happens at the 20 week scan?

Just wanna know what usually happens at this appointment I know I will hopefully find out the gender but anything else?

They do an in-depth ultrasound where they measure their growth (size of the head, legs, etcetera), make sure everything is growing healthy, that the umbilical cord isn't a concern (they can get wrapped around parts of the baby that can pose serious health risks), and anything else they may be able to fix while in utero, or prepare for when you give birth so they can make sure they have all the things/personnel they need when it's time for your baby to come into the world ;)

They're usually pretty smooth sailing :)

They check if baby's organs are growing properly. I believe also if they have cleft lips etc.

Anatomy scan and just make sure all organs and heart have all parts and are working correctly! It's such an awesome experience!
