I don't know how big an age gap, but it usually depends a lot on the person.
I would say I couldn't have done without a lift, a nursing pillow, a changing table, a carrier and something that can rock my baby to sleep.
A proper stroller for newborn and diaper bag is also something I couldn't live without.
