Still taking 3rd nap???

Question

My 8 and a half month old twins are still taking a third nap in the evening and I was wondering if anyone else’s babies are still doing three naps a day. I know they should drop it sometime soon, but is it unusual that they haven’t dropped it yet?

Hi! Thank you for asking and it's reassuring seeing the poll results. My daughter turns 9 months tomorrow and she's still taking 3 naps! Still inconsistent, some days we get long naps (1-1.5 hours) for some of the naps. But most days it's still catnaps at 40 minutes each lol but she's sleeping through the night so I'd much rather that!

My twins are almost 10 months and just dropped to 2 naps. But when my son was 10 months he was still taking 3 naps. If that’s what they need then that’s what they need :) and if they are sleeping through the night I wouldn’t worry at all
