My friend will be watching my house and dogs for 3 days for free. As a thank you, I offered to stock the fridge with whatever foods/snacks he wanted and alcohol choices. He declined and said he’d take care of all of that. He stopped by today to let our dogs meet while we are both here and to get a walk through of where things are etc (dog food, key, garage code - you get the picture). Anyways, I showed him to the guest room he’d be staying in and he was cool with it. Then after he left I thought, well we aren’t going to be here and our room is empty. Should I just let him take whatever room he wants ? Was that rude of me to show him to the guest room? Is proper etiquette to let him sleep in the master room or his choice room? I feel bad and want to know if I was inconsiderate. :-/ I can definitely fix it if I was. I just need opinions.

Side note - guest room is smaller and has a queen size descent bed. Pillows definitely suck though.

Master is huge, has a bathroom, and a California king size bed with a really nice mattress and superior pillows.
