My sons girlfriend is 21 she had my grandson May 3rd. My sweet baby was born a little premature so he was held in the NICU for couple weeks. It’s almost been a week since he’s been released and she has been very stingy with him.

She makes up ridiculous request just to keep me away. If i want to see him it has to be at certain hours of the day. I understand washing hands before touching a baby but she requests we wash our hands after any thing, even being on our phones. It’s ridiculous.

I asked for a copy of my first grandson’s birth certificate and was telling her how grandparents have the right to go get the child’s birth certificate and she completely lashed out on me and my son did nothing but sit there. The more I try to be there for the baby the more they push me away. At this point I’m starting to give up 😞
