Ovulation cramping and spotting but no positive ovulation test??

It’s about the time I should ovulate and I started light brown and pink spotting when I wiped that lasted about two days with cramping/ovarian cramping. Also breast pain and lower back. Now the bleeding has stopped. I’m confused because I thought I was going to ovulate then, but all my ovulation tests leading up to, during, and yesterday were all negative by a lot. I was testing for the most part twice a day during timeframe, but I do drink a lot of water. I don’t know if period is coming way early or what??
