What to expect with a miscarriage?

I found out on Christmas I was pregnant with our first but had been spotting. Got blood work done Monday and hcg was only 78 got retested yesterday and dropped to 50. They called today and told me today to expect a miscarriage. What exactly can I expect? Were devastated and not knowing what the coming days/weeks hold are making it worse.

You'll get cramps cramps and more cramps. Maybe nausea (I didnt) blood will get heavier. I cramped and bled all day then by end of day I felt pressure, went to the bathroom and out it came, so be prepared for that, seeing it in the toilet. You're going to be sad. I'm so sorry you have to go through this. I've done it and it's not easy. Big hugs and know you'll get better and stringer after each day. And you are by far, not alone!!!!

I had mine last Monday, and girl. Let me just be honest. Right before it honestly felt like my vagina was having diarrhea with blood and clots. I was 12 weeks and I did it natural I don't know how far you are or how it's different. Please don't take the pain like I did. It hurts really bad. I didn't believe them when they said I was miscarriage so I didn't take pain pills. Please do. I'm so sorry your dealing with this. It's a terrible thing to go through. Prying for you

like everyone said- lots of bleeding and cramps. I think I bled for a few weeks total. I think the part I wish I would have known was how long the grief would last. I felt horribly depressed and alone (even though my partner is amazing). I didn't know what to do with myself and it was hard to function. I wish I would have had a support like this app and a support group at the time. when I finally found these supports, and could honestly say all the thoughts in my head, without a filter, I finally started to move on.

I had a natural mc at 5weeks, was just like a normal period, minor cramps, nothing major. I had another natural mc at 7 weeks, much much more painful and heavier bleeding with large clots...

That early of a miscarriage it will be like a long bad period. I had one in June and I was 6 weeks. Didn't have a ton of cramping but there was lots of blood and clots. It's different for everyone.

I am in the same boat. Mine were 45 Tuesday and 29 today. I was bleeding and little clotting. Period like cramps and sometimes sharp pain but nothing worse than a heavy period. I feel very bloated and have a headache. Have since stopped bleeding but Dr says I Prob will again.  Tylenol and ibprof is helping the discomfort. I'm sorry for your loss. Keep your head up. It will happen again and it will be healthy:-)
