SAHM how do you entertain your kids who don’t go to daycare?

And how often do you do it? My son is 19. I’m a SAHM and FTM. My husband works around the clock and I don’t drive. Not sure what to do anymore. I feel like I need to constantly entertain him. We go to park 2hours everyday. We read books, we garden, we dance and sing. But to be honest, I’m about to loose my mind!  Husband says to put him in daycare but we barely have money to survive and he will willing to pay for it for my own sake. But I don’t want my son to be away from me. I have very bad feelings about daycare, kids getting sick, mistreating your kids and feeding them crap.

I agree that pinterest is a great tool! But also, rmeember that unstructured/independent play time are also important. Its okay for your chikd to get "bored"

Make a friend who has another baby the same age as yours. Then, they can spend some time together at your house/her house and you may not lose your mind then

I say don't over think it. I dont believeyou have to entertain kids every waking moment of the day. let them get bored and their imagination will entertain them. I like to get my toddler to participate in stuff im doing...like folding washing (it does take alot longer but it keeps her busy) They're just happy to be with you and feel included

There’s TON of mini crafts or adventurers to do! 
Short walks in the neighborhood to collect flowers.
Coloring with chalk.
Playing with bubbles.
Get a $9 kiddie pool from Walmart. Tons of different water play activities. 
Bury plastic dinosaurs and bones in the dirt and have babe dig and brush them out. 
Give babe a skewer (or pipe cleaner or dry spaghetti) stuck to a marshmallow and have them thread cheerios onto the skewer. We just did this the other day! 
Picnic outside.
If you have a slide at home or the park isn’t busy, place a basket/bucket at the end of the slide. Bring objects to for babe to toss down the slide to try and get in the basket. My daughter (21m) LOVES this.
Paint some cheap pots to use as planters or make into fairy gardens.

I like to start activities with my kids, then let them play by themselves. They play with soapy water independently… a lot. I give mine wet wash cloths and have them “clean doors” because they like to help. They make mud pies outside independently after some guidance. Chalk, coloring etc. You are such a good Mama for playing with your baby and doing things with your baby. I know that it can be really hard and not to mention isolating.
