I have a 1year old and I had an emergency c section with him but I haven’t had a period in 5 months and my doctor tested me urine and blood a month ago and it was negative but prescribed me medroxyprogesterone to start my period and I took it for the 10 days and was told to expect my period to start 3 days later but I never got a period but I did spot for 2 days 5 days after I stopped taking the medroxy. Then a few days later my boobs started hurting and I was cramping so I thought my period was coming but today I took a pregnancy test and it’s positive I am beyond confused I took 3 to confirm can this medication cause false positive? I also was put on birth control and I took my first pill yesterday and then finding out today I am beyond confused and would love someone to talk to me about this I will be contacting my doctor tomorrow
