Does anyone else have a Balanced Translocation?

I’ve just found out I have a balanced translocation and this is the cause of my 3 early miscarriages and our next steps now are to do IVF including embryo testing in order to transfer a genetically healthy embryo.

It’s a tough pill to swallow knowing I have to rely on IVF. My partner and I decided that we didn’t want to continue to risk another miscarriage or potentially having a baby with severe genetic health defects with natural conception so we are solely relying on IVF.
