Interrupted IVF stims

Did anyone had their stimulation process canceled? Mine was just canceled after 3 days of injections and I’m trying to understand how long will I have to wait until I try again. My doctor told me I have to wait for my AF again, take contraception for 10 days and then only after five days I can try with stimulation again. Do you have any experience you can share? I’m really sad and disappointed that the goal of starting a family is moving away, yet again 😭
