Baby rolling at 9 days old?

Is it normal for my 9 day old baby to roll from tummy to back? I was doing tummy time with her and she rolled from tummy to back twice. Should I be concerned?

My daughter rolled around 2 weeks old. She kept doing it intentionally after that.  Confirmed with her doctor there were no issues with torticollis or muscle development. She was just one of the very rare cases of early rolling. mention it to your doctor incase it is being caused by an issue such as torticollis. it can be easily fixed in most cases.

Does her head tilt one way all the time? I know sometimes this can be from tightness in the neck. Our baby had that and her head was always leaning to the right. If that’s the case, you may want to look into PT so she doesn’t develop a flat head. If not, then she’s just a little rockstar!! 💕

Just from reading another comment you made. This sounds like torticollis. Pedi chiropractor will help treat that. It’s not common at all for a 9 day old to roll. I’d be more worried about the torticollis. Very treatable though. The torticollis can easily make baby roll like that.

Mine did some of these rolls early on but it was by accident. We were so excited but they weren’t intentional.
