What was your experience WITH or AS a surrogate?

Long story short, my husband and I are considering a surrogate for baby #2 but he has a hard time trusting anyone else carrying our baby, how they eat, drinking, doing drugs, taking medicine, etc. For those who have had a surrogate or been a surrogate, is the process trustworthy? I would really appreciate feedback so much. Thanks!!

I believe the process is trust worthy. You have to put every bit of your trust into the surrogate you choose to go with before anyone is pregnant. I am speaking from a Surrogates perspective. We have to be committed to this process in helping you bring your baby to this world just as we would our own. When it comes to drugs or any other risks there are ways you can make sure they aren’t or haven’t as we do get tested before and after we have the embryo transfer. Some intended parents have regular test done to insure they are not putting the baby or babies at risk. Contracts are also put in place also with what you want your surrogate to abstain from. Your relationship with your surrogate may also play into part and that too is up to you. I am going through my 2nd journey after finishing my fist in 2019 giving birth to twin babies. Surrogacy is a wonderful journey and I believe all that can not conceive should be able to experience the love of child. I wish you the best :)
