Positive opk for the last 11 days

I have been getting a positive opk since last monday 21 december, i also spotted light on that monday and tuesday ... i kept testing everyday and still today the opk are positive, i did a hcg test and it was negative I start af in 4 days... confused has anyone else experienced this
