I really like the name but I feel like it’s too “old fashioned” and can’t really imagine myself calling a baby Stephen lol

Just remember you’re naming a future adult! So even if a name seems silly or too mature for a baby, imagine an adult introducing themselves. (And remember nicknames exist for this reason)

My son is Stephen , he’s 4 and people always say how they love , he loves meeting older guys with his same name.

Old fashion is often a badge of quality and you can go with a nickname as a baby, I’d rather have a child with a grownup sounding name than an adult with a baby sounding name.
I think it is Dignified, Timeless and Gentleman like !

I like it! I found my babies ended up with little nicknames anyway! And I naturally went back to their more formal name as they got older and the baby nickname wasn't appropriate any more xx

Call him Stevie when he’s little. One of my friends name is Stephen and we called him Steve or Stevie most of his life.
