Migraines, meds that are ok?!

I'm almost 6 weeks pregnant and I get migraines terribly. (Have my entire life) anyways I know I can't take certain things and my OB is closed until after the new year, anyone else get migraines and have their OB tell them what is ok to take?! I'm seriously dying over here

Tylenol and a coke. If that doesn't work go to the er they have a iv combo they can give you

Just Tylenol I had migraines at first from cutting my caffeine intake so try to do it in moderation.

My doctor wrote me a prescription for fioricet (sp?) but luckily haven't had to take it yet. I had a mild migraine one morning and Tylenol + coffee took care of it.

I have migraines too. I am 6 weeks at the moment. Went to my family doctor to confirm my pregnancy, while there I discussed the migraines with him. He did not want to prescribe me anything since I haven't seen an OB yet. But he did tell me that in case of an absolutely horrible migraine I could very sparingly take a dose of excedrin with tons of water. But only as a last resort, and only before I see my OB. Hope this helps. Luckily I haven't had to take his advice.

Mine said a regular Tylenol is ok. But do not take Motrin or Advil
