Success with tracking for birth control?

Has anyone been successful in just using ovulation and cycle tracking for pregnancy prevention? 6 weeks postpartum this Tuesday and just got my first positive ovulation test today since having my daughter.

It’s not an effective method at all. So if you’re okay with getting pregnant again, read up on FAM. 
You’ll need to do opks and bbt. 
It’s not recommended to ditch other forms of birth control until you have learned your cycle (like 6m of tracking).

Opks are not a reliable contraceptive method on their own. You need to do bbt in tandem and avoid sex or use a barrier until you've 100% confirmed ovulation.
