What are some effective coping mechanisms to deal with the stress and disappointment of failed attempts?
Failed attempts can be devastating and stressful, but it's important to cope with these emotions. What are some coping mechanisms to deal with the stress and disappointment?
Back story. My husband and I are ttc baby #2 I am 30 and he is 38. We have had 16 failed cycles. We have started our consults with specialists and with that, A normal HSG test for me and normal lab work up. They did a semen analysis and everything but the ph (slightly elevated) and viscosity(slightly elevated) came back great… so good count, morphology, and motility… I just can’t even bring myself to be around friends, family, or even my husband right now as I feel hurt, sad, disappointed… I am currently on my period and the emotions are high and I feel bad for isolating away but part of me just feels like I need the alone time to process these feelings. I just don’t feel like people understand the pain every month. I feel like I am failing on our dream and that is a harsh reality to deal with.
