I was travelling by Metro the other day. There were a lot of people in the coach. This woman sitting in front of me just lifted her skirt (thereby exposing her belly and the bra visibly in the first instance),  then opened the side of her bra and started breastfeeding. Within a few mins almost everyone sitting close by ( including some women) left their seats and sat down somewhere else. No one said anything; however there was an ackward silence for quite some time with dissenting looks exchanged. I am glad that no one confronted the woman and she did breastfeed until the child fell asleep. 

I get that when baby is hungry you gotta do what you gotta do.

Feeding the baby is priority.

However in my opinion, it can be done a bit more discreetly.

Why not some people invest in breastfeeding cloths where there is an easy opening for the boob to come out. Lifting the shirt, undo a side of the bra is bit far fetched

I am not saying " cover up"

I am saying do it discreetly by wearing proper clothing where there is a easy opening for the boob.

That's all I have to say.

Now considering the current reputation of Contraversey corner where some people cannot just post their opinion without personally attacking other people, I am posting this anonymously.

 And by the way, people who say that the OP has annoymously, look in the mirror- some of you guys also have history of your previous posts disabled as privacy setting. If I get onboard with your privacy setting, then posting anonymously is my privacy setting. I would like to have my identity protected when I am posting on sestive topics such as this.
