Sick of spotting

I'm 6 weeks pregnant and since I found out all I've done is spot brown whenever I wipe. Rang DR and all they say is as long as it doesn't get heavier it's ok. Anyone else got this or had it for weeks and been ok i have no cramps and have strong lines on tests
