IBS and pregnant
I've had IBS since the age of 18 and through my tumultuous 20s, was TERRIBLE at managing it. My friends would buy me bottles of Pepto as a joke all the time. By the time I reached my late 20s, I completely changed my diet, avoided trigger foods, and now hardly have any episodes. Until now.
I thought most pregnant women complained about constipation but I have the opposite problem. I'm also starting to get morning sickness and some of the stuff I eat to make me feel better makes the IBS worse later. (Fries, Bread, crackers, dry cereal).
All the stuff I usually eat for an IBS diet is completely unappealing and grosses me out. 😫
