My daughter is 4 and she still loves sleeping in her crib with toddler rail. We’ve asked her about getting a new, bigger bed and she doesn’t want it yet.

We are expecting baby 2 in a few months. This baby will be in my bedroom for the first year because I breastfeed during the night for the first year, and then I’ll night wean and move her to her own room.

I’m curious about your thoughts on furniture. How would you go about this? Right now, we are a one-income family so it would be cheaper to buy another crib and crib mattress, rather than buy a new bed frame, twin mattress, and dresser for my older daughter. This will at least buy us another year until my husband is making more. For now though, if I just put the new crib in my bedroom (for the first year), where would I put all the clothes for the baby? I’d prefer to not have to buy a dresser right now but I know that’s obviously the easiest way to store clothing. Any ideas are welcome! Photos too if you have a similar setup please! 😊
