When did you move baby’s crib mattress down?

I’m getting conflicting information on google, lol. 
She’s 8.5 months old and the crib is still at the highest height. She rolls around like crazy and just started army crawling today, but she doesn’t try pulling herself up on anything yet. Should I move her to the middle now or wait until she’s pulling herself up on stuff?

We adjusted it when they started sitting up.

When she can sit she can actually fall out of the crib. So I‘d move the mattress down for her safety.

We lowered it when he could almost sit up, since we were worried he'd fall out. A few days later he started sitting, crawling and pulling himself up (all in one week).
