Would you be upset about this or am I just expecting too much?
Long story short I’m 6 months pregnant and have a toddler. My baby’s dad does not live with me, we both have our own place for now. I live in an apartment alone with just my toddler so taking the trash out is a bit of a challenge. I have to carry my toddler and the trash at the same time and make more than one trip because I can only carry one bag at a time. I have to go up a set of stairs and across the parking lot to get to the area where the dumpster is at for my building. Now being 6 months pregnant it’s just too hard for me to take it out myself so I ask my babys dad to please come over and just carry my trash out for me but he won’t do it. There have been 2 bags of trash sitting in my kitchen for almost a week now and they smell awful. I’ve been begging him to please come take it out or at least sit with my toddler so I can take it out without having to carry him with me but he won’t. I also have a cat and you’re not supposed to change cat litter when you’re pregnant, I’ve asked him a couple times to scoop the litter box for me but he also refuses to do that so I just do it myself. I literally gag and throw up from bad smells with this pregnancy so dealing with the trash and little box almost always makes me vomit. But I get it it’s my apartment my trash and my cats litter box but I just wish he would help me with those 2 things because I struggle to do it being pregnant.🤦♀️ am I just expecting too much like should I not ask him to do things like that since it’s technically my problem or should he want to help me with things like that? I don’t have any family that can come help me with stuff like that and don’t know anybody in my apartment complex. I just text him again and asked if he will please come help me take it out and all he said was “just wear some gloves and a mask you’ll be fine” which that helps with the smell but the main problem is me not being able to carry it that far and make multiple trips holding my toddler.🤦♀️
