Best Postpartum Pads?

Hi ladies! If you have been through postpartum before would you mind sharing with me what brands/sizes of pads you used and when? With my first (6.5 years ago!) I used the hospital pads for the first 3-4 days and was able to switch to just regular pads. However the hospital pads were not my favorite because they felt bulky and the pads I used after felt like they were catching on my stitches. I’ve been trying to look through reviews and I’m going in circles 😂 So ideally I need two options, heavy option for the first few days and a more regular option for the days following.

I used the hospital pads when I was in the hospital bc they were free, but when I got home I switched to the regular ultra thin period pads. Worked perfectly fine for me!

Many women like disposable diapers now instead. I tried it, but personally still preferred the mesh undies with a pad. I used the hospital pads followed by maternity pads (off Amazon I think?) at first, then transitioned to Always thin pads. With my vaginal birth, I lined the maternity pad with witch hazel pads, so maybe that helped it not stick to stitches?

I use always discreet diapers with ice packs the first 3-4 days, then moved on to the always overnight maxi pads and by day like 7-8 I was on always ultra thin and then stopped bleeding around 9-10 days pp.

I've seen a lot of recommendations for postpartum of Depends Silhouettes. My last pregnancy was 8 years ago. I don't remember what I used. I had a couple things that the hospital gave me and I think I just used some overnight pads. Nowadays I have the washable period panties and they are very comfortable so I will probably use those too at times, at least as a backup.
