Iron pills at night?

My doctor has me taking an iron pill once a day because I'm slightly anemic but I'm worried I'm gonna feel sick throughout the day. Would it be best to take them before bed? Has anyone switched to night time for iron pills? and do you take them with anything before bed?

I take mine before bedtime, aiming for a couple hours after dinner when possible so it’s not effected by the food.

I have to take iron pills twice a day and it makes me so sick I hate it. I’m severely anemic

I would take mine like at 6, after dinner. Never felt nauseous

My doctor recommended me to take it in the morning before eating anything. So I take the iron then the vitamin C tablet because it helps best with absorption. She said taking it on an empty stomach works better. It doesn’t really make me nauseated that way
