I woke up to a big gush of warm fluid at 1:30am. I thought is was my water breaking but it was a enough blood to soak my underwear. I ran to the toilet and I lost a blood clot the size of an orange. To say the least I was freaking out! I called my dr and she reassured me that everything was ok. I had been completely closed at my check up on Monday today is Thirsday. She said that the baby was just pushing down and my cervix was dilating. She told me to lay down and make sure the baby was moving. Baby was moving and for the next two hours I labored at home, still spotting. Went to the hospital got monitored and all is well but got sent home because I am only one cm dilated and not progessing but still spotting. I am still worried about the blood but the drs are telling me it's okay. So ready to meet this little one and these contractions are super painful but thankfully baby and me are fine.
