Owlet dream sock worth it?

Does anyone know if the outlet dream sock is worth actually getting or not and why? I would love to hear everybody’s opinions.  I’m trying to finish up my registry. ￼￼￼

We got ours as a gift from our registry, but tbh we only used it once on our baby and I thought it was a waste of money. I was a light sleeper anyway & every time my baby did something it woke me up. One night I actually had to save my baby from choking on his own vomit and with that owlette I think it would have alarmed too late before knowing what was going on. Also we would always forget to put on bc we were just tired and wanted to just sleep.

I liked it when it was the owlet sleep sock and alerted for heart rate and oxygen for our first. Once ours became the dream sock it seemed useless so we haven’t used it at all for baby number 2.

As a first time mom I really wanted the owlet sock. I was so worried all the time in the early days. As time went on I learned to trust myself and baby. I am expecting baby 2 soon and have not been as worried. I probably would have slept better (though still interrupted) in the first few weeks after birth had we purchased the sock. I honestly feel like you know yourself best, if having the sock will help you rest and learn to trust yourself and baby, than it’s worth every penny.
