Is it too late to introduce my baby to a bottle? We have been EBF for 8.5 months now. However lately she has been so cranky and I have been extra hungry. I’m not sure if I’m just not producing enough for her now or what, she still has plenty of full wet diapers about 6-8 a day. And she still has her dirty diapers too. But I’m not sure what’s going on. My mom thinks if I start her on a bottle now I won’t be able to break her from it.

Side note: we have been trying to introduce her to a sippy cup but she mostly chews it and doesn’t understand she needs to suck it to get the fluids out not just chew it. So a sippy cup won’t work as an alternative.

Edit to add; this isn’t my first kid. My other kid wasn’t like this that I remember but due to complications he was born early and mainly had to have breast milk mixed with neosure formula. So he was primarily bottle fed. Rarely ate from the breast.
