Baby aspirin in pregnancy

My doctor didn’t mention anything about starting aspirin at my last appointment, but the office staff called later and was like “she said she wanted you to start the baby aspirin once daily for your history with preeclampsia, right?”

But all the doctor said was to monitor from home (BP was 135/90 at the office)

I told her it’s been lower since I’ve been home and she was pretty adamant I should start taking it anyway.

This is a new practice to me, insurance changed. They’re inside of a hospital so it’s almost impossible to get ahold of the dr herself..

just don’t like how it wasn’t mentioned until AFTER the appt.? Have y’all taken aspirin as a preventative thing solely? Like even if your BP is currently fine?
