natural birth for anyone?? :)

hi! currently 30w with baby #1! getting excited and nervous but wanted to know if anyone had or is hoping to have a natural birth?? it's my ideal situation but I'm 100% open to anything should it be needed.. hope everyone is feeling well :)

I have had two babies and both zero pain meds....and I think you have the right attitude. Just see how it goes. If you are progressing and can handle the pain then stay strong. It hurts, but it's worth it to be able to be up and moving right after birth.

I had an unmedicated, intervention free birth with my first. 40hr labor and she was OP but we did it! Doing it again this time, homebirth in March and looking forward to it. It's hard work but it's the best experience of my life. I believe this is what we were made to do :)

I'm 29w4d and I'm hoping to have natural birth with no meds as I want to feel everything (people look at me weird when I say that) my first baby aswell x

I was induced with my oldest daughter at 37 weeks and the pain made me feel like I was going to die and she was only 4lbs 15oz. Granted, I have a relatively low tolerance for pain. I'm hoping to continue with the water laboring that I wanted to do with my oldest this time around with no meds, but we'll have to see what happens.

I discussed with my ob my desire to have a natural birth at my 28 week appointment. So that's my plan. I am not against medication if the need should arise. I've read and watched videos for both medicated and non medicated. I know going in its going to be the worst pain I've probably ever felt. But I have this fear of something going wrong with the epidural. (I know I'm crazy). But I'm just going to go in and go with the flow and see what happens and pray for a healthy baby boy!
