What is this red bump after breastfeeding?

I am Breastfeeding my 1 day old baby and I noticed this after feeding her. Can anyone tell me what this is?

This looks like the start of mastitis a type of infection that can result from breast feeding. I had it once and left untreated it turned into a large, painful lump that had to be lanced and drained (and similar white-ish goo came out) and needed antibiotics. If it doesn’t hurt it’s still early but I’d def see a doc before it gets worse. It could be something else too but I would, without a doubt, see a doctor. I now have a lovely 2” scar on my right breast because I put off seeking medical attention. But caught early they may be able to just give you some antibiotics and it can clear right up. My stubbornness is what gave me such trouble. It got to the point that going without a bra hurt so bad I was in tears, but putting one on also hurt. It was terrible… Good luck, I’m sure you’ll be a okay, but please see a doctor. Even if it isn’t mastitis better to be safe than dealing with it getting larger.
