I got my IUD back in 2020 or 2019 and after the 6 months of adjustment, I didn’t bleed for at least 9 months straight. No periods and then I’d have maybe one day if brown spotting and then another handful of months no blood and so on. Now, 3/4 years later I’m having periods? I had one last month and didn’t think anything of it since I hadn’t had a period in a long time and figured it was standard but now i’m having another one and I’m not really worried but I am confused. Is this normal? I got the placement checked a few months ago and they confirmed it’s still where it needs to be but it shifted a few months back which my gyno said will only really cause an issue for removal. But even after it initially shifted, I didn’t have any periods. Any advice or stories help! I plan to call my DR on monday to clarify but I don’t want to freak out all weekend about it. Thanks (:
