I’m confused by naming a child after a patch of thorns. There is no gender associated in my mind

I think it’s genuinely neutral. I like it. I slightly prefer it on a boy but think it’s totally reasonable for either.
I think a boy might have to correct people who mistake it for Brian fairly regularly. I think a girl might field sleeping beauty comments regularly, which would bother me personally.
