I worked up until I was 39 weeks, my boyfriend also had a job, when we found out we were having a baby we were also going through a hard time and stayed with my parents which allowed us to not only save for baby but save for our own place. I made pretty good money and so did he and we saved my small checks to use for maternity leave. We ended up moving into our own place 2 weeks before my due date and had enough for maternity leave and baby things and our place.
