Actually, I recently read Anti-Diet and it really helped with how I view my body size. I learned that intentional weight loss has been shown over and over to lead to regaining all the weight or to weight GAIN in the long run for 95% of people. A lot of the health issues attributed to higher weight act actually partly or completely due to poorer medical care for larger-bodied people, and/or weight stigma, which causes a lot of stress and hence health problems
