Progesterone suppositories

I was prescribed progesterone suppositories to put in to attempt to reduce miscarriage risk. I used them twice daily until had consistent negative on pregnancy tests then stopped and would have period a day or two later. Anyway it did not work for me so we have been moving on to IVF and redoing some tests in preparation. Since that decision I have not been using them again. I never had issues with spotting prior to period before….. but for my last two cycles I start spotting way in advance of period…. Last cycle day 7 dpo and this day 9 dpo…. Has anyone experienced this? Does our body adjust to having high levels of progesterone around?
