I'm a really organized person. I hate being unable to find things and having a husband who is ADHD being overly organized helps the whole home. All shirts, onesies, and dresses were hung. One basket for clothes that are too big for the kids in the top of the closet, shoe basket next to it, and basket for clothes too small to be put away next to that. Hamper on one side of the dresser/changing table and diaper genie on the other.
We have 3 drawer dressers in each nursery. Top drawer from left to right has:
-Diapers in a tray with wipes infront of it
-Diaper rash cream and spatula next to that
-Q-tips
-Narrow tray with toothbrushes, tooth paste, comb, & brush
-Narrow tray with nail file, nail clippers, boogie wipes, and snot bulb
In the middle drawers from left to right in trays we have:
-Pajamas
-Socks
-Pants
-Shorts
-Skirts
In the bottom drawer we have waterproof mattress covers, fitted sheets, & diaper genie refills. Each child has a bookcase with decor, books, blankets, and a sound machine. We have a short bookcase during the infant stage so swaddles, burpcloths, and receiving blankets can be stored in baskets on top. Once our kids are not longer infants we upgrade to taller bookcases. We've done this system for every child and it works for us.
