Period every 2 weeks!? Help!!

Question

so I got an abortion about 4 months ago and when I got it done, I got the IUD put in. Now I get my period every 2-3 weeks and it lasts about 10-14 days and inbetween it, I have very heavy discharge like it's more watery.

Sorry if this is TMI but can someone please help!!

I had an IUD put in about 3 months after giving birth and had endless problems. Almost constant period and if it stopped it was only for 2 or 3 days at a time. After 3 months I told my gynae to take it out and she said she would do it in theatre and do d&c as well then put in a new one as maybe the first one was "faulty". Had the exact same problem 2nd time around and a few months later had that one removed as well and went on the pill. Maybe some people's bodies just don't like having a foreign object inside.
