My 2 year old started with waking up one day and having diarrhea half the day and no other symptoms. Then it was gone and the next day he was fine as well, the day after that he had diarrhea allllll day, no other symptoms and then by the next day he was fine for 3 days, that day he woke up throwing up a few times in like an hour and diarrhea once, then he was fine again rest of the day. Only thing about that one that we thought caused it was too many wheat thins the night before since he loves those, ate so many and had chocolate milk before bed. He assumed it was why his vomit and diarrhea had so much undigested food since he hadn’t eaten the day yet when he was throwing up.

Anyways it’s been I think three days since then and this yesterday diarrhea again but still otherwise fine, can’t tell us weather his stomach hurts or not but he doesn’t seem bothered, he’s still running around, looks tired otherwise. He was eating crackers and drinking some clear fluids yesterday. He used the bathroom I think three times spread out since 6am to 11am and he’s had no diarrhea the rest of the day.

he slept all night and had like the tiniest bit of diarrhea three times this morning but it was barely much. And he’s been eating again today.

I haven’t introduced anything new to his diet either so I’ve got no idea what’s causing it, he’s had no fever any of the times, it’s the oddest thing, only thing is on the days it happens he doesn’t have much of an appetite. I’m gonna call to schedule an appointment but idk when they’ll see him, the clinic he goes to takes awhile, if worse comes to worse I’ll bring him to an urgent care. Just usually if he was sick I’d assume it would be consistent and not on and off like that.
