I am on my third flange set and I still feel like they don’t fit. I ordered a measuring kit on Amazon and it showed me that my size was 21 mm but my areola was still being sucked into it. I know I have elastic nipples so then I read that that means I need to size down from that. I just got in the mail my 19 mm and part of my areola is still being sucked into it but now it hurts because it’s a more narrow funnel. Do I need to go even smaller than that? I don’t think I truly understand what the right fit is. I’ll look at the pictures, but it doesn’t help once the pump is turned on because my nipple gets pulled in and doesn’t just sit at the top like the picture show. Should it literally be just my nipple in the funnel???? Dumb it down for me on the first time mom 🙂
