During your period... Am I the only one?

I don't know what's been going on lately, but everytime I get my lady of the month, and I have to strap on one of those uncomfortable pads, I always end up getting a reaction to the pad. I first got a reaction to tampons (will never use those again) and now I'm using just pads and let me tell you, I'm ready to boycot this whole thing after my last cycle. I had such a bad reaction to my pad that I thought I might have to go to the doctors. Does anyone else have really sensitive skin and reacts to these bleached cotton and rayon pieces of you know what?
